Just a note before I continue. As I write Michael’s horoscope, I’m interchanging present tense with past tense since spirit lives forever; and, at the same time, I want to acknowledge his passing.
The key word for the number 22 is that of master builder. This is a very hard number to fully live up to because it is capable of such great accomplishment. However, as we all know, Michael was extremely capable at the work he chose to do in his life. He was especially equipped to handle large scale undertakings in the material world. Thus, the reference to master builder. The 22 possesses unique qualities and often very unorthodox approaches to problem solving. Michael was a very strong leader, and one who was not afraid to lead in new directions.
His perceptions were well beyond the norm. With the 22 Destiny operating within Michael in a positive vein, he was endowed with the most practical approach, but this practical or material sense was tempered with an awareness of non-material forces. He was very much the idealist, with the material skills to build and develop for the good of mankind. In a positive 22 like Michael, the inner strength was clearly visible, and he developed this strength, and possessed the charisma, to attract a following. However, he had to guard against being dominating and overbearing to those closest to him.
22 is believed to be the most powerful universal force of them all and represents the luminary. Since Michael’s name responds to this vibration, he was, without a shadow of doubt, destined for greatness. He was industrious, positive, courageous, was able to combine the ideal with the practical, had a brilliant and inventive mind and the tenacity to reach the summit of his ambitions regardless of obstacles. Being mentally and spiritually in advance of his time, he occasionally appeared a little eccentric or strange, and was often regarded with suspicion and mistrust by the more mundane.
For this reason, Michael felt rather isolated and lonely. He loved investigating new ideas, was an avid reader; but could also be impatient and easily bored with those who thought hesitantly or who were of a very conservative nature. He was a fascinating conversationalist and may have been bilingual. He was attractive, particularly to the opposite sex. Michael was especially prone to insomnia, rarely got enough sleep and could have been plagued by unusual and frightening dreams. He had the gift of being able to penetrate the unknown and to assimilate occult (hidden) mysteries without really trying. He was deeply intuitive, precognitive, and probably telepathic.
In love, he was romantic, sincere and kind. When differences occurred, he did not make much of them and was generally able to find humor in the most unpromising circumstances. He liked a tasteful, unregimented home, was easy to get along with and willing to compromise or change habits his mate was not particularly fond of. He had a small circle of old and loyal friends for whom he felt affection; but his love relationship always took precedence. However, in his love relationships he needed an intellectual equal who shared in his tastes and ambitions.
God is said to have used the Hebrew language when He commanded the world to exist, a language which comprises twenty-two letters. For this reason it is regarded by numerologists to be a sublime number. Those whose name adds to twenty-two, such as Michael, are inspired, admired and respected. It is the number of the prophet or the sorcerer.

Michael Joseph Jackson Destiny - 1
A number derived from all of the letters in the full birth name make up what is called the Destiny number. Destiny is a very descriptive word for the meaning of this important core element. This is the number that describes the tasks that you must achieve in this lifetime using the name that was given to you by your parents. This name, the complete birth name, symbolizes the opportunities you have at your disposal. This is sometimes referred to as your potential. Living up to attributes of this number may not be easy, but it is your goal in the here and now. It is your life's purpose, spiritual mission, and your field of opportunity.
The ancients attached great importance to names and many numerologists believe that the names we are given are not arrived at by mere chance. One theory is that the soul, on entering a child’s body, chooses a name suitable for its purpose in that particular incarnation. Another is that the forces that govern a person’s personality and destiny influence the subconscious minds of the parents when they are naming their infant. The method I used to evaluate the letters of the name is generally favored by numerologists and is based on the Hebrew alphabet with assistance from the Greek. The letters are not listed in the normal order in this system.
With Michael’s name, I encountered something I’ve never encountered before. I usually add up the first name, then the second, then the last name and then total these together; finally reducing them to their final number. What totally surprised me was that Michael’s first name added up to 22, a master number. But this wasn’t all. His last name, Jackson, also added up to 22.…and Michael Jackson is how the world knew him. The total of these two names reduces to 8 which could explain much of Michael’s melancholy, sadness and feelings of loneliness. Because of these anomalies, I will be using this blog to describe his Birth Name Destiny number, which is 1, and the succeeding blogs to describe, first, his master number and then, the number 8 for his professional name.
The number 1 Destiny suggests that the direction of growth in Michael’s lifetime was toward gaining greater independence and establishing himself as a leader. A name producing a 1 Destiny helped him gain the talents to become a skilled executive with keen administrative capabilities. He had within him what it took to become an original person with a creative approach to problem solving, plus he had a penchant for initiating action.
Michael knew how to get things going and make things happen. As he developed, he had little need for much supervision, preferring to act on his own with little restraint.
Progressing through life, Michael was one who sought to expand and broaden opportunities to find new careers and new inventions.
He developed his skills in innovation and ingenuity, and he had a good mind with the ability to use it for his advancement. Because of these factors, he had much potential for achievement and financial rewards. Frequently, this Destiny belongs to one running a business or striving to achieve a level of accomplishment on one’s talents and efforts.
As he matured, Michael became increasingly ambitious and determined. He was self-confident and self-reliant as he developed a strong, unyielding will and the courage of his convictions. The 1 Destiny presents a tendency for those born with it to fear routine and being in a rut. There were times when Michael may have jumped the gun because he was afraid of being left behind.
Destiny number 1 is ruled by the Sun. Michael was positive, active and daring; he was an explorer, pioneer, and innovator with the curiosity of the scientist as well as the creative imagination of the artist. He is intelligent, logical, and tenacious; being ambitious and enterprising, Michael rose from obscurity to a position of power and authority. He was purposeful and knew his own mind because whether multiplied or divided by itself, one remains one, which is not the case with any other number. He hardly ever turned to others for encouragement or advice and it was almost impossible to divert him from a chosen course of action; although he was often able to deflect others with convincing reason and argument.
Michael is constructive, original, a born leader as well as courageous and efficient in any emergency; and although possibly just as frightened as anyone else on the inside, he rarely showed it as he calmly and resolutely did what needed to be done. He was a vital and energetic person who was able to overcome any adversity; and he endured great hardship and/or pain without complaint. He had the capacity to adjust bravely to the most depressing circumstances, never tried to avoid doing his duty and usually tackled his responsibilities unflinchingly. Although he could be eccentric, at times dominating, impatient, obstinate and intolerant, he was generally exceptionally popular and often the focus of great admiration.
Michael is generous and forgiving, able to influence those about him, and always displays great sympathy for the weak and helpless. Michael has a deep sense of responsibility to those he loves and likes a reasonably well-run home; he is economical and rarely succumbs to extravagance, although he was often extremely generous to his mates. He is reasonable, has the ability to compromise, and always ready to end an argument. Michael is charming, attractive, affectionate and sincere; but emotionally controlled. One signifies the Creator of the Universe; it is the number of God. It also represents masculinity and power. One can be divided into any number leaving it unaltered, ten divided by one is still ten, and so stands for the power of the spirit which can enter all things without changing their outer forms.
Monad - 1 - is so called because it remains always in the same condition - that is, separate from multitude. Its attributes are as follows: It is called mind, because the mind is stable and has pre-eminence; hermaphrodism, because it is both male and female; odd and even, for being added to the even it makes odd, and to the odd, even; God, because it is the beginning and end of all, but itself has neither beginning nor end; good, for such is the nature of God; the receptacle of matter, because it produces the duad which is essentially material. By the Pythagoreans, monad was called chaos, obscurity, chasm, Tartarus, Styx, abyss, Lethe, Atlas, Axis, Morpho (a name for Venus), and Tower or Throne of Jupiter, because of the great power which abides in the center of the universe and controls the circular motion of the planets about itself.
Monad is also called germinal reason, because it is the origin of all the thoughts in the universe. Other names given to it were: Apollo, because of its relation to the sun; Prometheus, because he brought man light; Pyralios, one who exists in fire; geniture, because without it no number can exist; substance, because substance is primary; cause of truth; and constitution of symphony; all these because it is the primordial one. Between greater and lesser the monad is equal; between intention and remission it is middle; in multitude it is the center; and in time it is now, because eternity neither knows past nor future.
It is called Jupiter, because he is Father and head of the gods. Vesta, the fire of the home, because it is located in the midst of the universe and remains there inclining to no side as a dot in a circle; form, because it circumscribes, comprehends, and terminates; love, concord, and piety, because it is indivisible. Other symbolic names for the monad are ship, chariot, Proteus (a god capable of changing his form), Mnemosyne, and Polynomials (having many names).
One of the names for the monad - 1 - is Apollo. Here we meet the radiant sun-god Apollo, the gentleman of Olympus and lord of prophecy, music and knowledge. His nickname was Phoebus, which means “the brilliant”, and in myth he delighted in the heights of the mountain peaks. He was the son of Zeus by Leto, the goddess of Night. Unlike other children, Apollo was not nourished on his mother’s milk. He was fed nectar and sweet ambrosia, and immediately the newborn baby threw off his swaddling clothes and was endowed with manly vigor.
He set forth with the bow and far-shooting arrows which the smith-god Hephaistos had made for him, seeking a place for his sanctuary. But the place he chose was a mountain gorge which formed the lair of the vicious female serpent Python, a beast sent by Hera out of jealousy to destroy Apollo’s mother Leto. The god killed Python with one of his arrows, crowned himself with sacred laurel, and called his new sanctuary Delphi. At the shrine of Delphi he established his oracle, spoken by a priestess who became known as the Pythoness.
Meanwhile, he left Delphi every year in the autumn and traveled to the mysterious land of the Hyperboreans, where he could enjoy an eternally bright sky. Apollo was the enemy of all darkness, and could lift from men the curse of blood-guilt and the toils of sorrow; but Apollo was also the god of sudden death as well as being a healer who drove away illness and shadows. Prophecy, normally the gift of the underworld deities, was gradually appropriated by Apollo until he himself became the embodiment of far-reaching vision.
On an inner level, Apollo, the sun-god, is an image of the power of consciousness to dispel the darkness. Like Hecate, who under the name of Artemis was Apollo’s twin sister in myth, the god personifies something greater than one individual’s capacity to gain knowledge and insight. Apollo is an image of the urge toward consciousness which exists in all life, and therefore he is the natural complement and antithesis of Hecate. Through many long centuries and through the rise and fall of many cultures and civilizations, the thrust toward knowledge and the craving for freedom from the bondage of the dark, unknown nature has driven humankind toward impressive although dangerous heights.
Apollo represents the spirit of intellectual striving, combined with a vision of the future which encompasses an ideal of perfection. Apollo is the dispeller of fear, and his bright light casts away shadows. The shadows of the Moon are like the night-fears of childhood, where we feel small and unimportant in the face of the vastness of the unknown, threatened by gigantic shapes that loom in the darkness. Apollo is an image of that hope and faith which spring not from any one person’s striving, but from all of us, a human inheritance of nobility and determination which can restore man’s faith in himself because it is also a faith in the meaningfulness and purpose of the human journey.
The Sun symbolizes that indomitable spirit that has always struggled against superstition, helplessness, ignorance and bondage. It is this spirit which battles with the serpent Python, the embodiment of the negative power of blind instinct and primitive fear. Apollo’s music also lifts us out of ourselves, for music speaks with a transpersonal voice, crossing cultures and centuries and embodying human tragedy and triumph. Thus Apollo is a great deity, respected by all the gods, and even the Moirai were once made subject to his will - although only once.
Another symbol of the monad - 1 - is Prometheus. He is represented in the Major Arcana of the Tarot deck as the Hanged Man. Prometheus was the Titan who defied the law of Zeus and stole the fire of the gods to give to man, knowing full well that he would suffer for his deed. The name Prometheus means “foresight” and the Titan possessed the gift of prophecy. He was also said in myth to have created man out of earth and the water of his own tears, while Athene breathed life into the creation. Thus Prometheus had a deep sympathy for the lot of humankind, for he had made them.
But Zeus asserted his divine supremacy over men by withholding fire from them. This meant that there could be no progress or illumination, for without fire, man was condemned to live like the beasts, eating raw meat and hiding in caves. Prometheus took some of the holy fire from Hephaisto’s forge, hid it in a hollow fennel stalk, and carried it to earth. Outraged by his theft, Zeus resolved to annihilate mankind by flood to destroy the offenders, for not only was his pride injured, but with fire man might attempt to become godlike.
But Prometheus warned his son Deucalion, who built an ark and went on board with his wife, Pyrrha. The flood lasted for nine days and nights, but on the tenth day the deluge ceased and Deucalion offered up sacrifice to Zeus. The king of the gods, touched by his piety, agreed to his request to renew the human race. But Prometheus did not get off so lightly. As he had foreseen, Zeus seized and bound him with indestructible chains to a high cliff in the Caucasus Mountains. An eagle flew down each day to devour Prometheus’ liver; each night the liver was renewed and the torture continued. After thirty years, Zeus permitted his rescue by the hero Heracles, who slew the eagle and broke the prisoner’s chains. Prometheus was made immortal, while grateful mankind, honoring their benefactor, raised altars to him and for the first time wore rings, in commemoration of his bondage.
On an inner level, Prometheus, the Hanged Man, is an image of voluntary sacrifice for a greater good. This sacrifice is made with willingness and a full acceptance of the suffering that might be required. The image of Prometheus is a symbol of that part of us which has the foresight necessary to understand that such changes might be needed for the unfoldment of an inner design which is not yet clear. Thus, Prometheus represents an attitude of willing submission to that mysterious center whose workings lie behind the turnings of the Wheel. Prometheus, the Hanged Man, implies an acceptance of waiting in darkness. He is in suspension, tortured by anxiety and the fear that his sacrifice might in the end come to nothing; yet he wears a peaceful expression. And his suspension ends at last, altering both him and his relationship with the gods, for he is given immortality.
In many ways, Prometheus is an image of the relinquishing of control so that a new and greater sense of life can emerge. Because Prometheus has made man, it could be said that he is man - a kind of visionary spirit within us which sees greater possibilities and is willing to abandon all that we have previously held sacred so that this greater consciousness might be obtained. As a result, Prometheus is at first made terribly vulnerable, for if we are prepared to make such a sacrifice on trust, then we open ourselves to life, and life can hurt us.
But this price of giving up our defenses and making the journey into loneliness and self-doubt seems to be necessary for any real sense of what supports us when we cannot support ourselves. This is the meaning of true faith and it can only be gained through risking ourselves in life. The card of the Hanged Man is a natural outgrowth of the turning of the Wheel of Fortune, for it implies a willingness to trust in that Other which knows better than the ego what might be right and necessary for one’s development.

Lifepath: 6
Information used for the following:
Michael Joseph Jackson
Born August 29, 1958
11:53 p.m.
Gary, Indiana, USA
Lifepath: 6
The Life Path is the sum of the birth date. This number represents who Michael was at birth and the native traits he carried with him through life. The most important number that will be discussed here is the Life Path number. The Life Path describes the nature of his journey through life.
The Life Path 6 suggests that Michael entered this plane with tools to become the ultimate nurturer, and a beacon for truth, justice, righteousness, and domesticity. His paternal instincts, having a 6 Life Path, far exceeds all others by a considerable margin. Whether in the home or in the work place, Michael was the predominant caretaker and family head. While the 6 may assume significant responsibilities in the community, the life revolves around the immediate home and family, for this is the most domestic of numbers. Conservative principles and convictions were deeply ingrained and defined Michael’s character.
Michael is idealistic and must feel useful to be happy. The main contribution he feels he makes is that of advice, service, and ever present support. Michael was a humanitarian of the first order; and since he feels that it is his role to serve others, he starts in the home environment. Michael is very human and realistic about life, and he feels that the most important thing in his life is home, family and friends.
This is the Life Path related to leadership by example and assumption of responsibility, thus, it was Michael’s obligation to pick up the burden and always be ready to help; and he willingly carried far more than his fair share of any load, plus he was always there when needed. In doing so, Michael took ownership and often became an authority over a situation.
In romance, Michael was loyal and devoted. As a caretaker type, he tended to attract partners who were somewhat weaker and more needy than himself; someone he could care for and protect. The main ingredient that needed to prevail in his relationships was complete harmony. Michael didn’t function well in stressful relationships that became challenges for him to control. It was the same with friends; he was loyal and trustworthy. But there was a tendency for him to also become dominating and controlling.
It's likely that Michael felt compelled to function with strength and compassion. He was a sympathetic and kind person, generous with personal and material resources. Wisdom, balance, and understanding were the cornerstones of his life, and these defined his approach to life in general. Michael’s extraordinary wisdom and ability to understand the problems of others was apt to have commenced from an early age. This allowed Michael to easily span the generation gap and assume an important role in life early on.
The number 6 Life Path actually produces few negative examples, but there are some pitfalls peculiar to the path. Michael may have had a tendency to become overwhelmed by responsibilities and a slave to others, especially members of his family or close friends. It was also easy for him to fall into a pattern of being too critical of others along with a tendency of being too hard on himself. The natural burdens of this number are heavy.
The Lifepath 6 is ruled by the planet Venus. Michael is creative, resourceful, trusting and trustworthy. He loved beauty, was idealistic, imaginative, and was usually at his happiest when involved in some kind of creative activity. He possessed an excellent color sense, and may have had perfect color vision with a marked ability in some field of artistic endeavor. Sixes are successful in life and are able to accumulate a great deal of power as well as money.
In addition to his genius in music, Michael would have made a brilliant painter, sculptor, writer and/or teacher. Numerologists suggest that Sixes are particularly likely to excel in the arts because they have the creative power of three twice (6 = 3 + 3). Michael had moral and emotional courage, was just, kind, and adept at handling people. He possessed that rare gift of intuitively understanding the needs and difficulties of others, and getting the best out of them. He respected intelligence, loathed forceful and opinionated people and did his utmost to avoid them.
With the only number divisible by odd (3) and even (2), Michael, as a Six, was well balanced, open minded, and self-controlled. He made an excellent mediator since he had the ability to see both sides of an argument or problem impartially. As a Six, he possessed an instinctive dignity and was physically attractive and capable of great charm; although when negative, he could be obstinate, arrogant and self-indulgent.
In love, Michael was warmly affectionate, loyal, faithful, and anxious for fidelity. After marriage, he preferred the company of his mate but retained his very close friends. Michael liked a comfortable and orderly home and was fairly domesticated without making too much of it. As a Lifepath Six, Michael was always fair and considerate and disliked arguments which he often went to great lengths to avoid, although once involved in a quarrel, he could be wittily derisive and bitingly sarcastic.
He is sympathetic and extremely generous to friends and loved ones in need, and he always helped out with boring or unpleasant jobs if someone he felt affection for could not cope. Michael was exceptionally self-reliant and never asked for assistance himself, he disliked accepting favors and feared being dependent in old age. Michael was not particularly interested in money as long as things appeared to be running smoothly, although he disliked waste and was usually economical.
Michael was a very conscientious parent and his children most likely possess a great love for books and learning. Six is usually symbolized by a double triangle or circle divided into six, it represents unity of spirit and body, and harmony between man and God. In some ancient records it was asserted that the manna which fell from the heavens in the desert for six days was marked with the Hebrew vau, six. Six is also the number of love, marriage, and domestic happiness.
The Pythagoreans held the hexad - 6 - to represent, as Clement of Alexandria conceived, the creation of the world according to both the prophets and the ancient Mysteries. Six was called by the Pythagoreans the perfection of all the parts. This number was particularly sacred to Orpheus, and also to the Fate, Lachesis, and the Muse, Thalia. It was called the form of forms, the articulation of the universe, and the maker of the soul.
Among the Greeks, harmony and the soul were considered to be similar in nature, because all souls are harmonic. The hexad is also the symbol of marriage, because it is formed by the union of two triangles, one masculine and the other feminine. Among the keywords given to the hexad are: time, for it is the measure of duration; panacea, because health is equilibrium and the hexad is a balance number; the world, because the world, like the hexad, is often seen to consist of contraries by harmony; Omni-sufficient, because its parts are sufficient for totality (3 + 2 + 1 = 6); unwearied, because it contains the elements of immortality.
One of the keywords for the Lifepath 6 is time. Time is represented in the Tarot by the card of the Major Arcana called The Hermit. The Hermit is represented by the ancient god Cronos, whose name means Time. In myth, Uranus (Heaven) and Gaea (Earth) mated and produced the first race, the Titans or earth gods, of whom Cronos was the youngest. But Uranus regarded his progeny with horror and shut the Titans up in the depths of the underworld so that they might not offend his eyes.
But Gaea grew angry and meditated a terrible vengeance upon her husband. Having Cronos assist her, Gaea carried out her vengeance on Uranus whereby Cronos then liberated his brothers and became sovereign of the earth. Under his long, patient reign the work of Creation was completed. This time on earth became known as the Golden Age, because of the abundance over which Cronos presided. As god of time he ruled over the orderly passage of the seasons, birth and growth followed by death and gestation and rebirth, and was worshipped both as a grim reaper who set the boundaries past which man and nature could not go, and as a god of fertility.
Eventually, Cronos himself was banished by his son, Zeus; some say to the depths of the underworld, but others say to the Blessed Isles where he sleeps, awaiting the beginning of a new Golden Age. On an inner level Cronos, the Hermit, is an image of the last of the four Moral Lessons which the Fool must learn: the lesson of time and the limitations of mortal life. Nothing is allowed to live beyond its span, and nothing remains unchanged; and this is a simple and obvious facet of life which despite its simplicity and obviousness is painful for us to learn and often only comes with age and hard experience.
Cronos is a god who both embodies the meaning of time and also rebels against it. So he is humbled and overthrown, and learns wisdom in solitude and silence. In many ways he is an image of the body itself, which inexorably grows older and rebels against its mortal fate. The problem of solitude and the discovery that one is ultimately alone and mortal are dilemmas which all human beings must face. Youth passes into maturity, and can never be regained in any concrete way; but memory and wisdom are distilled from the passage of time, and also the gift of patience.
The lesson of the Hermit is one which cannot be learned through struggle and conquest. Thus Cronos stands in counterpoint to Heracles, for struggle will not stop time. Only acceptance of time yields the rewards of Cronos’ Golden Age. Through enforced limitation and through circumstances which only time, not battle, can release, the Fool develops the reflective, introverted, solitary stance of Cronos the Hermit. Thus Cronos is in some ways an image of humility, which often begins with humiliation in the face of that which we cannot change, but which can result in a quality of stillness and serenity without which we cannot endure the obstacles and disappointments which life sometimes brings.
However clever the intellect, however warm the heart, however strong the sense of identity, the vicissitudes of life would shatter us if we were unable to find somewhere within the patience and prudence of the Hermit, who teaches us how to endure and wait in silence. The negative face of Cronos is calcification, a stubborn resistance to change and the passage of time. But the creative face of this ancient and ambivalent god is the shrewdness to change what we can, to accept what we cannot, and to wait in silence until we can tell the difference.
Another keyword for the Lifepath 6 is world. The World card is the final card of the Major Arcana in the Tarot. Here we meet Hermaphroditus, who in myth was the child of Hermes and Aphrodite. In one version of the tale, Hermaphroditus was born a double-sexed being. But in another version, this duality or unity was made, rather than born. Hermaphroditus was originally a male child, and to conceal his illicit birth, Aphrodite immediately confided him to the nymphs of Mount Ida, who brought him up in the forests.
At the age of fifteen he was a wild and savage youth whose chief pleasure was to hunt in the wooded mountains. One day he arrived at the banks of a limpid lake whose freshness tempted him to bathe. The nymph Salmacis who ruled the lake saw him and was enamored of his beauty. She told him so, and in vain the shy youth attempted to repulse her. Salmacis threw her arms around him and covered him with kisses. He continued to resist, and the nymph cried out, “O gods! Grant that nothing may ever separate him from me, or me from him!” Immediately their two bodies were united and became one.
The four devices which surround the image of Hermaphroditus in the card of the World belong to the four deities: Aphrodite the love goddess, Zeus the king of the gods, Athene the goddess of wisdom and Poseidon the god of earthquakes. Their symbols are represented in the cards of the Magician, the cup of love, the wand of creative imagination, the sword of the intellect and the pentacle of physical reality. The serpent which surrounds Hermaphroditus is the ancient World Snake, which as we have seen embodies the raw instinctual power of life itself, forever devouring and recreating itself.
On an inner level, the image of Hermaphroditus is an image of the experience of being whole. Male and female are more than sexual identifications. They are great polarities which encompass all the opposites in life. The double-sexed being, born in one version of the myth and made in another, is a symbol of the potential integration of the opposites within the personality. In one sense Hermaphroditus is born thus, because the potential for this integration is inherent in all of us. But in another sense, Hermaphroditus is made, because it is the varied experiences of the entire journey of life which lead ultimately to this complete being.
The qualities of maternal care and paternal ethics, intuition and physical expression, mind and feeling, relationship and solitude, conflict and harmony, spirit and body - all these opposites that war within us and create such struggle in our lives are, in this card, portrayed as joined, living in harmony within the great circle of the World Snake which is an image of inexhaustible life. The image of wholeness as it is portrayed in the card of the World is an ideal goal, rather than something which we can completely possess. We are human and therefore imperfect, and the divine androgyne is beyond our reach.
But we may glimpse this state whenever there is a sense of inner healing, where two warring parts of ourselves have at last come together and some inner resolution has brought peace. Ordinarily, when we encounter these opposites in life and in ourselves, we deny that such a conflict exists, repressing half of it and casting it into the underworld of the unconscious. Or we project the uncomfortable half on to another person, or something in the outside world, and expend our energy battling with something which is really within ourselves.
The state of ambivalence is part of the human condition; yet how many of us have the courage to admit our ambivalence? But as human beings we are complex, and the Fool’s journey is really a journey of discovery through the opposites of one’s being, conscious and unconscious together. The card of the World is the final card of the Major Arcana, and the end of the Fool’s journey. Yet it is also an egg which implies the seed of a new journey. Thus, whenever we feel we have arrived and there is a moment of achievement and healing, a fresh challenge arises, a fresh discovery of the ancient spiraling journey. Thus we continue to grow and change, always moving toward Hermaphroditus, the image of wholeness, yet never achieving it save in a small and sometimes subtle way.
Michael Joseph Jackson

I Discover Michael Jackson is a M-A-N!
As I mentioned in my previous blog, my realization that Michael Jackson was a man hit me like a ton of bricks….it just seemed to come out of the blue….and it didn’t occur until about one month after his passing. I never thought of him as a male since I first heard of him when I was 13 and thinking, due to the PR spin, that he was only 8 or 9. Nope. I definitely did not think of him in a sexual way. In those days, I thought of myself as a “grown-up” of 13 while he was just a little kid, albeit a very talented one.
The next time Michael Jackson impacted my consciousness was with his music video, “Black or White” and, once again, his sexuality didn’t have any affect on me. I think I was still adjusting to his new look; getting used to the overall impression he created as an individual. Plus, I was very busy being a Mom, working and going to school while also taking care of my partner. I really didn’t have time to think about Michael Jackson, much less fantasize about him.
Between then and his passing, I heard various media reports on Michael but didn’t really pay them much attention since I had my own battles I had to fight, not to mention I figured the media was hyping whatever Michael did in such a major way to misdirect the public away from political things that people should have been paying attention to. Then there was the fact that a lot of the videos and articles about Michael, when they weren’t painting him as some monster, were portraying him as a big kid and I think this subconsciously reinforced my idea that he was way too young since I still didn’t know he was only a year younger than myself.
Now don’t get me wrong. It’s way cool that he liked having fun; but the way the media portrayed it, that’s all he did. They never really showed his serious side, never showed him working and in the act of creation, never really spoke to him about things that were dear to his heart, never covered his humanitarianism; or, if they did, I was too busy to scout them out and watch them. I do have to give Michael credit for playing with his super soakers outside. When my partner and children discovered super soakers, they played with them everywhere!
Inside the house, with the dog barking and running all over the furniture and the cats diving for cover, to outside the house to run around the yard, only to come back in. Needless to say, my job was to squawk at them and tell them to go outside. But we did other things with the kids such as playing video games….it was a family thing and we really liked playing Tomb Raider. I still play video games; my current favorite is Luxor 2 by Mumbo Jumbo. We also used to take the kids out for midnight strolls during the summer when it was too hot in the house. During these nightly forays, we’d take them to the playground and jungle gym or to climb trees on the golf course.
I think if there had been more balance in the coverage of Michael, people would have been more inclined to see what an intelligent, beautiful, gentle and talented man he was. But, alas! This was not to be since balanced coverage would not make the networks a pile of money. I think when I finally saw Michael Jackson as a man and not some androgynous being, was when I first saw the photos of him going to court during the 2005 trial.
I know the charges against him were serious having had my own dances with the CPS; but I didn’t look at the photos in that way since I hadn’t followed the trial. What I saw when I looked at the photos was a mature man who was extremely sexy. First off, I think being a Daddy agreed with him tremendously. Children have a way of making you realize there are little people depending on you; it matures you in a very subtle way and takes you outside of yourself. Secondly, I think it was the suits he wore. I love nothing better than a man in a suit; but, it’s not just the suit itself, it’s the way the man wearing it owns it.
My partner has a suit that, when he puts it on, I just want to take it off he looks so damned tasty in it! Michael was the same way…he owned the clothes he wore. We’ve all seen the guy in the suit or tuxedo who’s very uncomfortable and it shows. But what I found the sexiest about Michael Jackson was his mind. After his passing, I finally read “Moonwalk” and it told me a lot about his early years; but what really hooked me was his book “Dancing the Dream” - all I can say is that the words he wrote were so beautiful and profound. Then I learned about his technical savvy; his genius in creating; his very big heart and charitable contributions and I about melted.
I also learned about how he took the lemons of being burned in the Pepsi commercial and finding out he had vitiligo and turned them into the lemonade of a new Michael who came back stronger than ever. In fact, whatever the world threw at him, he caught and tossed right back at it whether it was health issues or nasty rumors in the media. And all the time he fought his own battles, he still took the time to be a strong crusader for those who were too weak to defend themselves and he constantly sought justice, peace and unity. What a package!
But the timing of all of my discoveries about Michael were also coupled with my partner losing his job and the other events I’ve listed plus I had the time to actually fantasize. Fantasies about Michael were/are an escape mechanism, a type of safety valve so I wouldn’t buckle under the things that were, and still are, happening in my real, everyday life. For that I am also grateful to Michael. His beauty, his kindness, his humanitarianism, his continually moving forward in the face of all opposition, in a way, gives me encouragement to do likewise.
All of this, in turn, made me wonder what his horoscope was like. I’ve never done one for a famous person before; I usually reserve these for family and close friends; but I was curious about Michael. So the following blogs will be Michael’s horoscope. From my research, the birth time of 11:53 p.m. feels right. However, I do them in a little bit different fashion. Since any one personality analysis doesn’t really cover the entire person, I use a combination of Numerology, Name Meanings, American Indian Astrology, Celtic Astrology, Chinese Astrology, Gems, Western Astrology, Tarot Reading and Playing Card Reading. My next blog will begin with how Numerology describes Michael.

Universal Mind
I finished reading Aphrodite Jones’ book, “Michael Jackson Conspiracy” toward the end of July, early August. In the book was a photo of a painting that hung over Michael’s bed. The caption read:
“Michael Jackson’s bedroom, upstairs, with a strange painting of ‘The Last Supper’ depicting Jackson in the center, flanked by Abe Lincoln, JFK, Thomas Edison, and Albert Einstein to his right. The images to his left are not clear, though one appears to be the entertainer Little Richard. (State’s exhibit)”
This painting piqued my curiosity because it hung over Michael’s bed. To me, that indicated that this painting was important to him and I wanted to know more about it. Going online, I did a search for Michael Jackson’s Last Supper and the results I achieved were definitely not satisfactory….all media spin garbage. So I did a search for Michael Jackson’s commissioned art, or something to that effect, and came across a site that had each artist who worked for Michael and thumbnail sketches of the paintings they had done.
Finally!
I found the “Last Supper” under Nate Giorgio; but that was not its name. The correct name for this painting was “Heroes” and, at least to me, had very little to do with a last supper. Gotta love the media (sarcasm). Anyway, I decided to look up the artist who had done this work and found that Nate Giorgio had a contact link on his site. So, really doubting I’d hear back from him, I e-mailed him to ask about the painting.
It would seem that Nate was bored because he answered me and we started a type of guessing game as to what the painting really represented. He would give me clues and I would have to try and solve them. I told him it looked like a meeting of some kind and he told me I was close; but that wasn’t the entire meaning. Looking closely at the painting, I listed everyone represented. They were: Lincoln, Kennedy, Edison, Einstein, Disney, Chaplin, Elvis, and Little Richard.
Looking each of these individuals up, I found that each and every one of them, without exception, had changed our world in a major way and, contrary to the media reports, Michael was not the focal point, he simply included himself in this group because it’s a fact: He has made major changes in our world; in music videos, in dance, in dress style, and in so many other ways. Me, being me, suggested to Nate that Michael had never heard of Nikola Tesla, who I would have put in place of Edison since virtually everything we use today regarding technology was invented by this man and I sent him a link to a video that I can no longer find.
After finding out about the other subjects in the “Heroes” painting, I suggested to Nate that the painting might represent a “meeting of the minds” to which he replied I was close. We went back and forth; more clues with my trying to solve them when one day, I had a flash of inspiration. I suggested that the room in which they sat was the Mind of God and that Michael, and all of the others, were all manifestations of God. Guess I got the brass ring since Nate told me Very Good! In actuality, we are all manifestations of God, each working out our destinies in our own way and, as the movie “It‘s a Wonderful Life“ shows, each one of us, no matter how insignificant we may think we are, each of us has an affect on our world. But it seems that Nate eventually got bored with our correspondence because he asked me if I had ever heard of MJ’s Secret Society. I thought it was a new game; but to my responses, he didn’t reply. So I left things there for a while.
While these e-mail exchanges were taking place with Nate, I started having dreams and hypnagogic images of Michael. The first, was a dream; but it was the type of dream where I knew I was me, but in the dream, I thought I was someone else at first, then realized I was invisible! I was standing outside the door to a cabin in the woods with someone else who was knocking. The door opened and we were inside. It was a small cabin with one door leading off the main room to what I knew was a recording studio. I also knew there were two or three people in that room.
In the main room that I had entered with the other person, who was a male; was Janet, sitting on a couch and Michael, sleeping on the couch. Michael was snoring and Janet laughed and said, “So much for his insomnia!” I tried talking to them and, it was at this point, that I realized I was invisible. As dreams do, this scene cut to a later scene where the others were asleep but Michael was awake - the time seemed to be 3:30 a.m. - Michael was sitting in a ladder back kitchen chair playing, I think it was a gameboy; anyway, it was some small, hand held device he was using. I tried to get his attention; but being invisible, he didn’t see me. That was the end of the dream.
My next other-worldly encounter with Michael, was a type of audio hypnagogic image as I was waking up one day. I “heard” him saying that sending me a book would be a good idea. In my mind’s eye, I saw a book in a brown paper wrapping; but I couldn’t see the title. This image came approximately two weeks BEFORE the announcement of the Michael Jackson Opus; but I didn’t make the connection between my dream and the Opus until almost a month after the book was announced. In the meantime, I was waiting for a book in the mail which, for obvious reasons, never came.
Then, two days before the announcement of the song “This Is It” I was laying on my massage table in a very relaxed state when, once again, I received a type of audio hypnagogic image. I was in a house with a lot of windows. Michael lead me to a sound mixing room that was fairly dark and had pinpoint lighting up above and a highly glossed wood floor along with all kinds of sound mixing/engineering equipment. He walked over to the equipment as he was saying, “Listen to this.” I “heard” the classical music intro to the song, “This Is It” but when it came to the lyrics, I couldn’t hear them. Two days later, the song was announced and then later, released.
About a month or so later, as I fell asleep one night, I saw a very clear image - another hypnagogic image - of Michael sitting at an ornate wooden desk in a type of library. He was wearing a suit and looking hot. It was daylight outside and somehow I “knew” he was in England. He was reading some papers and writing something down. I couldn’t tell if he was reading legal documents or a printed version of the Memories page at MichaelJackson.com. That was it until that night when I can’t really remember the dream because it was unsettling. I do know that in my dream, Michael was threatened with being kidnapped/held hostage. These people were connected with some type of underworld group and wanted money; but the dream was very disjointed. I don’t think I wanted to remember it because it was a very disturbing dream; but it seemed to dovetail with Michael’s statement that there was a conspiracy against him.
I’ve had some other dreams of Michael since; but, for some reason, can’t remember them. While all of this was going on, I started getting the hots for Michael. It just came over me…it was very weird! I think, looking back in retrospect, that the fact that he passed, we lost our friend shortly after, and, in September, my partner lost his job, I hazard to guess that the stress from these situations was alleviated by Michael Jackson fantasies because Michael represented to me a time in my life - I first heard him in 1970 - so he represented a time when I really didn‘t have any cares or worries in my life. I was feeling so alone and frustrated and decided to contact Nate. Looking back, I feel sorry for Nate because I can see I was becoming a major pest. Finally, because I think he was exasperated, he suggested I go to one of the fan sites which is how I found MichaelJackson.com.
Going over the posts in the forum, I found that I was not alone in thinking of Michael in a sexual way and that there were a lot of women who had these thoughts and fantasies and also had dreams of him. It was also thanks to the ladies in the forum that I discovered Michael’s gold pants. And, because I couldn’t afford the Opus, it was also a forum member, nellymj at Michael Jackson.com, who provided me with the caption to the “Heroes” painting found in the “Michael Jackson Opus”:
“Heroes; Oil on paper mounted on board; 18' x 35". Michael sent me a list of his heroes, people through history that he looked up to and inspired him: Lincoln, Kennedy, Edison, Einstein, Disney, Chaplin, Elvis, and Little Richard. Michael wanted me to design the painting as if they were having a private conference, a final meeting.”

A Lot of Catching Up To Do
Like many people, I first became aware of Michael Jackson way back in 1970 when I was the ripe old age of 13. He initially came to my attention at my first dance in the eighth grade. What a nightmare that was! I was in the process of becoming a woman, and, at that time, there was still the option of either pantyhose or garters and stockings for women. I didn’t like either and so, for my first dance I decided to wear this “special” make-up that was supposed to look like hose. All I can say is that I managed to get that stuff everywhere! It didn’t help that I was painfully shy; so shy that if someone spoke to me, I would turn bright red and couldn’t answer plus I have red hair and am taller than the average female. I stopped at 5’9” tall. In addition to this, I had a lisp which speech class helped a bit.
Awkward is an understatement. Still, in spite of, or, maybe because of, the horrible conditions of that first dance (and truth be told, dances in the following years weren’t much better); in spite of this, I can still remember hearing Michael Jackson singing ABC. The song just took me away; it pulled you in and his voice was so pure. Even so, when I learned that Michael was “only” eight or nine years old, I lost interest in him. His brother, Jermaine, was much cuter….and older. It was only after his death that I learned that saying he was eight or nine was a PR ploy and learned that he would have been 12 when I was 13. However, at that time, I probably would have still thought he was too young and lost interest since age seems to be of such importance when you‘re entering puberty.
Still, Michael Jackson was always there at the periphery of my life; in the background, a steady presence. Thinking about it now that he’s gone, I liken him to electricity: you take it for granted that when you flip a switch, the light will come on; and when the power goes out for several days…or permanently, you’re devastated. Anyway, Michael was always kind of just “there” on the edges of my life, and my consciousness, until I was much older and able to get MTV. The next time Michael Jackson had an impact on my life was with the song, “Black or White.”
This particular video had an impact for several reasons. When I first heard/saw it on MTV, I had a family and it’s in this context that it impacted me. I liked “Black or White” because of the message; my children liked it because McCauley Caulkin was in the video and my partner liked it because, at that time, the morphing of people at the end was cutting edge technology and he‘s always way ahead of the pack in sniffing out new things. It is only now, after he’s passed, that I can see what a brilliant businessman and strategist Michael was in the creation of this video; a video that had something for everyone who viewed it. But, once again, Michael Jackson was relegated to the periphery of my life and consciousness; that is, until he passed away.
As stated in my previous blog, his death didn’t even really impact me until about a month later, and not until a friend of ours had also passed away and the media started their feeding frenzy in earnest; especially regarding the child molestation allegations. One thing I’ve learned over the years, and especially during Ron Paul’s run for the Republican nomination for President, is that when the media either ignores something or starts harping on something, they’re employing the art of misdirection. So, with this in mind, and the media going on and on about Jackson being a pervert, my radar picked up something fishy going on. Having been subjected to the tender mercies of the CPS myself (please note the sarcasm), my initial instinct was to totally reject the fact that Michael Jackson was a child molester and I sought out information that could settle the question once and for all. For this purpose, I chose the book, “Michael Jackson Conspiracy” by Aphrodite Jones. What appealed to me about this book was the fact that Ms. Jones was up front about her negative reporting during the trial; yet, it seems she had a conscience and wanted to set the record straight after the fact.
What’s interesting, is a video on YouTube where she talks about trying to sell her manuscript. Now bear in mind, this woman was already an established author and had several best selling books under her belt; yet, when she tried to sell the Michael Jackson manuscript giving the real skinny on his trial, she was basically told, “We don’t want anything positive toward Michael Jackson.” Wow! Maybe Michael was right when he stated in a 60 Minutes interview that there was a conspiracy against him.
Before continuing, in brief, my experience with the “Child Lovers” in the government occurred when my oldest was four years old. I was starting a new job and chose, at the suggestion of a friend, a daycare center that was on a church property and was allegedly state certified. It should be kept in mind that this was also the time during which the McMartin preschool scandal was dominating the news. There’s that mainstream media again; molding and shaping public opinion. One day, about a month after I’d started work, I noticed some small bruises up and down the back of my daughter’s calves; there was also a child size hand print on her buttocks. When I asked her what had happened, she told me that three kids had ganged up on her at school.
Both my partner and I were concerned, and, when my daughter was dropped off at school the next day, we asked that the teachers keep these children away from my daughter. I didn’t get upset, or threaten or rant or rave and thought I had handled the situation quite well, and went to work. My whole world turned upside down when I went to pick my daughter up after work. She wasn’t at the daycare and I was informed that the school had called the CPS on me! At that time, they didn’t tell you where the children were taken, so I had no idea where my daughter was; it was after business hours and I had no way of finding out if she was OK. I was numb and sick to my stomach.
This entire ordeal was one long nightmare. I was told they thought my daughter’s arm was broken which totally baffled me since her arm was fine when I had dropped her off at school and I only had their word to go on. I was devastated because my daughter had been having separation anxiety when I dropped her off and I always told her I would come and get her; and their taking her away made me a liar. When she was released from their “care” she was almost cross-eyed; the whole family commented on this and when I asked my daughter what had happened when she was there, she said she couldn’t remember. Then there was the Family court case which was a total joke.
I had a lawyer who advised me to plead guilty because it “would go easier on me if I did”…wtf? I remember asking him, “Why should I plead guilty to something I didn’t do?” Then, there was the detective who was the investigator verifying everything I told him as true and one day, in the lobby of the court, he came up to us and told us, “Someone’s jackin’ you guys around.” But he wouldn’t say who. Then, when the judge wanted to question my daughter, I was further made a liar. I had told my daughter to tell him the truth and everything would be OK; because, at that time, I thought there really was a justice system and not a Just Us system. Why was I further made a liar?
Reading the transcripts of the questioning of my daughter in the judge’s chambers, I saw that the judge, still a stranger in my book, had my daughter get on his lap even though she indicated she didn’t want to. He kept asking if her mommy hit her to which she responded, “No” and then asked if she could go to me. This went on for about four or five pages until finally, she said, “Yes”… at which point, they let her go. So much for telling the truth. Even the CPS drones were ready to drop their “case” against me based, primarily, on what the police detective found out: there really were three kids ganging up on my daughter and, according to the detective, one of them was a really big kid; the school was in violation of its state license in that rather than one teacher for every four children, it had one teacher for every twelve children; and several other items.
But was the case dropped? No. The attorney allegedly assigned to represent my daughter still wanted to pursue….I don’t even know what and the judge, who looked smug, agreed stating that it would set a precedent in the law books. And what was the final outcome of this “trial”? The judge told me I was guilty of choosing the wrong school! Not to mention, once you’re in the CPS‘ databanks, forget it; they will use any excuse to harass you. After this fiasco, I was not satisfied and appealed. All the paperwork was done within the time specified; but it was near the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays so I waited until after the New Year to call and see what the outcome was.
Turns out the lawyer, the same one who advised me to plead guilty to something I didn’t do, never filed my appeal and he couldn’t be found since he had been magically promoted after my case was heard in Family Court. Fifteen years later, I learned “who” according to the detective, was jackin’ me around, and why. Turns out the judge who heard my “case” should have recused himself because he was the one who owned the daycare where my daughter had been hurt. This son of a bitch put me through hell; made me a liar to my child and ruined my life because he was too cheap to get a proper license for his daycare and have the appropriate ratio of teachers to students thus resulting in my child being injured. This man today owns several daycare centers. Maybe evil does prosper. This incident, and harassment from the CPS in the years that followed since I was in their databanks, at first devastated me; then made me educate myself on what was really going on….the true agenda of these people, now I speak out and have found there are several websites and groups who are denouncing the CPS’ harassment of innocent families.
Which brings me back to Michael Jackson. The first time it was alleged he molested a boy was in 1993 and, under the advice from his attorney, Michael Jackson paid this boy and his family $20 million dollars. In the ensuing years, this boy has stated that he lied. That Michael Jackson never touched him and that he lied because his father wanted him to. It seems the father had written a screenplay and wanted Michael to read it. Guess he kind of blew the father off and old Dad got mad and retaliated, netting $20 million in the process. It’s interesting that this boy has made the statement several times that he lied about Michael Jackson in order to get money. The old “deep pockets” gambit; it’s also ironic that the boy’s father committed suicide after Michael Jackson died. Allegedly, the father committed suicide because he had a terminal illness…but many speculate it was because of guilt….guilt at having a hand in what ultimately murdered Michael Jackson.
Ten years later, around 2003, Michael Jackson was again accused of molesting a boy. The evolution of how this came about is suspicious in that the molestation trial was the result of a documentary by Martin Bashir; a documentary, incidentally, that was supposed to set the record straight and show Michael as the loving human being he was. It’s also interesting that Michael’s “friend” Uri Geller, an Israeli who’s worked with Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, encouraged him to do the documentary with Bashir; especially when there was another contender to do the documentary. Oddly enough, after smearing Michael, Bashir, like my attorney, was promoted to a news job with a major network. This is the trial Aphrodite Jones’ book covers and she shows how the media manipulated opinion against Michael Jackson.
The question is: Who did Michael piss off? And the molestation accusations weren’t even the beginning of the attacks on Michael. Reading his book, “Moonwalk” Michael speaks of when he did the Pepsi commercial; how he didn’t want to do it because he didn’t like the idea of endorsing a product that he, himself, didn’t use. He spoke of all the rehearsals for the shoot; how he would be at the top of a ramp and the magnesium flares would go off, then he’d come down the ramp. But when it came to the actual shooting of the commercial, the techs held off igniting the flares until he was right by them and it was sparks from these flares that caught his hair on fire….all caught on camera.
Apparently, when he didn’t “go away” after being burned, whoever was out to screw him really brought out the big guns in an effort to totally destroy him. And after years of media saturation regarding child abuse being heaped on the public, what better way to destroy someone’s reputation than by accusing them of this heinous act. Luckily, Michael had cameras recording Bashir’s recording of him; and it was these recordings that were used by Maury Povich in a special program to show how Bashir had edited his program to paint Michael in the worst possible light. In fact, later, the family who accused Michael Jackson, were, themselves tossed in jail. All of this got me to thinking.
My case occurred in 1985; the same time as the McMartin scandal when the CPS was just getting its legs….and its funding. Looking on the internet, I noticed that there appeared to be a decline in the reporting of alleged child abuse as well as funding in 1992...just before Michael Jackson was accused the first time of molestation. Shortly after this, in 1994, there seemed to be a sudden drastic rise in abuse allegations and, as a result of this, a need for more funding. Things settled down, and once again, the CPS appeared to be in a decline in 2000 with alleged incidents of child abuse retreating…along with the money. Then, almost as if on cue, Michael Jackson is again charged with molestation and, after his trial, in 2005, funding and incidents of alleged abuse were on the increase.
Seems to me that Michael Jackson was the unwitting poster boy for perversion used by the media and, indirectly, the CPS to show that anyone can be a molester and no one is above the law; not to mention schools began indoctrinating children on how to report people. In other words, they used Michael Jackson since virtually everyone knows who he is and then segued into what was going on in the children’s homes. The sad part about this, as shown last winter in Sacramento, is that children who truly are abused are left in abusive situations. Why? Because these children have to endure horrific abuse and even potential murder so that the CPS can point to these incidents and demand more money to “protect” children.
But they don’t protect children. CPS seems to prefer healthy, attractive, young children who are adoptable, and they do their utmost, not to reunite the family; but to tear it apart and terminate parental rights. Why? Because the state gets $20 - 40,000 per child who’s adopted. Then there’s the foster care industry. These people get paid twice as much as people on welfare, they get more food stamps and medi-cal plus they aren’t docked if they work since they’re doing the “good guy” thing….whereas welfare recipients get money taken from their check if they work. Plus, look at your state and federal tax returns; there are all kinds of write offs for foster parents….and these have only increased over the years as the foster care “industry“ has blossomed, while biological parents are basically told to go suck eggs. And the sad fact is: many of the foster parents are into what is called “warehousing” the children; meaning they take as many foster kids as they can for the money…it’s all about the money for a large majority of these people and not about the children at all.
I think Michael Jackson had an inkling of this when he wrote the songs, “Little Susie” and “All The Lost Children.” Little did he realize, he was being used by the same entities to promote the CPS‘ agenda, and unwittingly contribute to all the little Susies and lost children when allegations of molestation were waged against him. It’s sort of like when tax time rolls around and you see Willie Nelson or Wesley Snipes or Leona Helmsley being harassed by the IRS. Same principle; you might be rich; you might be famous; but we can still get you. And it’s all designed to cow the public. No wonder Michael didn’t like the media. He used to emphasize that it was the tabloids who twisted things; but, I think in the end, he realized that all the media were vultures. One thing I have to give him immense credit for is that he didn’t take their crap; he used what they did to him to write songs such as “They Don’t Really Care About Us” and the one about the D.A. Sneddon. So while these scumbags were trying to stick their hands in his pockets, he wrote songs about them, telling what really happened and was laughing all the way to the bank.
Kudos to you, Mike!
What seems to never have been reported in the American media was Michael Jackson’s humanitarian endeavors. He has given over three hundred million dollars ($300,000,000) - that’s almost half a BILLION - to charities…and he always gave freely regardless of what country, color, race, religion, sex….you name it, if he saw a need, he gave. Plus, he did this generous giving in a true Christian manner in that his right hand knew not what his left hand did; meaning he didn’t go around bragging about his charitable works. This man truly was a loving and kind human being who sincerely loved children. It’s only our own twisted and warped perspective, aided by media distortion, that saw something bad in something so good and beautiful.
Michael Jackson: Symbol of Our Potential
Michael Jackson. His name is spoken and there are reactions that span a huge range of emotions; from women (and some men) weeping with love to others ready to jump his bones, hot with desire to still others ready to tear him apart because they think he’s a child molester to those who look down their noses at him snickering about his appearance. But the fact remains: love him or hate him, you just can’t be indifferent to him.
Why is this?
What is it about Michael Jackson that has such a grip on people? Young or old, black or white, Christian or Muslim, the comparisons could be endless and it still would make no difference; it seems that virtually everyone on the planet has heard of this man. Sure, he can sing and he can dance and his clothes are way cool; but it has to be more than these things. Is it because he’s so vulnerable? Yes, he gives that impression; but no one really knows for sure because no one really knows much about him given that he’s a very private person and what is reported, is usually opinion, speculation and hearsay - all unverified - with very few real facts.
So what is it about Michael Jackson?
I ask these questions, and have started this blog, in the hope that I will be able to understand why this man’s death had such an effect on me. Right off the top of my head, I know that his passing reminded me - very strongly - of my own mortality. I’m almost one year older, to the day, than Michael; and my mother was 57 when she passed away. The fragility of human life was underscored for me when a friend of ours died almost one month after Michael Jackson. She was my age.
Then, like dominos, my brothers and sisters all had heart complications. One of my brothers had to have stents put in his heart. Shortly after, my older sister has some health issues and was in the hospital. Then, on my 52nd birthday, my younger sister, who’s 50, had a heart attack. Thankfully her husband was there to perform CPR until the paramedics arrived and she is now doing well. Finally, shortly before Christmas, my oldest brother was having heart problems and was admitted to the hospital.
I was the only one who was not affected; yet I felt as if I were waiting for the other shoe to drop; which it still hasn’t and I sincerely hope it doesn’t. But, on June 22nd, preceding all these dire happenings, a joyous event took place. The coming into this world of a new little person created such a feeling of joy in me; a feeling I cannot describe as I’ve never felt like this before. Amazing would be one way to describe it. The feeling of being a grandma for the very first time. The thought that my bloodline, my family, would continue. This feeling prevailed for three days and then Michael Jackson died.
I didn’t really give it a whole lot of thought at first. In fact, it was about a month after he passed, shortly after our friend passed, that I began to think about Michael Jackson in earnest. I know a large of part of the reason for this was the non-stop media coverage; both the tabloids and the mainstream media. Being continually inundated with all Michael Jackson, all the time, I started paying a little more attention. Then I noticed that even in death, the vultures were attacking him and my antenna perked up because a lot of what was being reported about Michael Jackson rang patently false. I didn’t even know there had been a second molestation allegation because, during the time the media covered this, I was busy with my own life. My partner had sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury and I was researching the best way to deal with this in a holistic manner; eschewing pharmaceutical drugs and surgery.
Still, what was being reported after Michael Jackson’s death was being stated so salaciously, and with such venom, that I wondered why this man was being so reviled and decided to do some snooping on my own. One thing I learned was that Michael Jackson has repeatedly said the tabloids lie; I would go a step further than this and say ALL the media lie. This is something I’ve learned, personally, over the years and the negative spin on Michael Jackson only further fired my desire to do my own research. In fact, by law, the news doesn’t have to report facts - which is probably why it’s now called “infotainment” and why spin and opinion are so common.
Which brings me to the point that this blog is my opinion. I want to state that out front. I do not claim to be an expert; I do not claim to have first hand information. However, I do have a brain which I like to exercise, and I do have a heart and intuition that I listen to since they’re great BS detectors. Since I’ve begun my research on Michael Jackson, I, myself, have run the gamut of emotions; from sad to hot and bothered to depressed to amazed to touched and finally, to angry. About being angry with Michael, I’ll have to work up to that.
