Soul Urge, Inner Dreams, Birthday, Productive Years & Planes of Expression

The Soul Urge or, as it is sometimes called, the heart's desire, is an important core influence in numerology. However, the Soul Urge falls well below the Lifepath and Destiny numbers in importance, because this is a number that you don't expose overtly to those around you. It is your inner cravings, likes and dislikes, which are usually kept rather private. This number denotes what you value most regardless of Life Path and Destiny. This influence suggests the nature that drives you in your daily life. Satisfying the demands of the Soul Urge will give you a sense of inner peace and contentment.

For Michael’s full birth name, Michael Joseph Jackson, his Soul Urge was 9. Having a 9 Soul Urge, Michael was happiest when he was able to do something to benefit humanity. He had a strong desire to make a difference in the world. Living his life fully and helping where he could, gave him a sense of fulfillment. For Michael’s first name, Michael, his Soul Urge was 7. With a 7 Soul Urge, he had a strong inner need to gain a spiritual sense about the world around him. Michael had an inborn appreciation for nature and the wonders of the world. Fulfillment came when he was able to spend time in solitude and in seeking wisdom.

Your Inner Dream relates a secret dream, your inner desires, or maybe even fantasies. As a modifier, this aspect of your chart may be considered less important than many of the others because often these remote and deep-seated dreams are never realized. Sometimes, however, when this number has a relationship to another core number, the dream can come true. And, in Michael’s case, this is exactly what happened since his Destiny Number and the Inner Dreams number for his birth name are both 1. Strangely, this number is also associated with your personality or how people see you on first meetings. This number may be so strong in your subconscious that you even project the trait as a personality mask.

Having an Inner Dreams number 1, Michael dreamed of being a leader and one who is in charge. He wanted to be known for his courage, daring, and original ideas. He sought unconquered heights. People sometimes may have gotten a first impression that he was very aggressive and sure of himself. While his first name alone, Michael, had the Inner Dream number 6. With this number, Michael dreamed of guiding and fostering the perfect family in the perfect home. He craved the devotion from offspring and a loving spouse and pictured himself in the center of a successful domestic unit.

Michael’s birthday on the 29th added a tone of idealism to his nature. He was imaginative and creative, but rather uncomfortable in the business world. He was very aware and sensitive, with outstanding intuitive skills and analytical abilities. The 29 reduces to 11, one of the Master Numbers which often produces much nervous tension. Yours is the birthday of the dreamer and Michael was able to work very well with people. Reducing to 11, we find that Michael worked well with people because he knew how to use persuasion rather than force. There was also a strong spiritual side to his nature, and he had intuitive qualities inherent in his make up, as well. Michael was very aware and sensitive, though often temperamental. Although he had a good mind and was very analytical, Michael was not always comfortable in the business world.

Michael was in his second Life Path Period, known as the Productive Years, which was a number 3. This was likely a very pleasant, carefree and creative time in his life. Being original and using his talents of expression found him furthering his career and his life in general. If there is a pitfall during this time it is becoming overly optimistic and extravagant, and spreading his talents too thin. All in all, this was a period that offered much happiness in exchange for a minimum of planning and concentration.

Michael’s Planes of Expression. The word Expression used here really means activity or how we act. This determination of Expression is a product of birth name. There are four planes of expression or temperament: Mental, Physical, Emotional and Intuitive. To get a grasp of these, you should think of Mental leading to qualities that rely heavily on the mind, on reasoning, and using facts to make decisions; Physical suggests the systemic behavior of the disciplined, the practical, the builder, using energies on the here and now; Emotional develops qualities of imagination, originality and inspiration, guided by emotions and sentiment; and finally, Intuitive promotes inspiration, idea development, spiritual inclination, and the sixth sense.

The mental plane is very strong in Michael’s makeup. He has a serious concern with logic, reason and precise fact-finding. His motivating force was logic, and hunches without the backup of a multitude of facts and figures, wouldn’t get anyone very far in his world. He was a very strong leader in whatever competitive field he selected and his reasoning power competed with the best in his environment.

Michael’s physical plane was average. He is essentially a common sense person with a concern for the practical and the economical use of resources and assets. He has the ability to stick with a job and get it done even if it is not all fun and games. He also has a healthy competitive spirit which serves him well without going overboard. His ability to concentrate on the task at hand is solidly set in his nature.

Michael’s emotional plane is average. He had a healthy sense of sentiment and feeling and rarely have difficulty expressing himself emotionally. In addition to this, he was reasonably well tuned into the emotions of those around him. Michael’s emotional plane was strong enough to give him talents in originality and creativity, and he was able to occasionally impress with his artistic skills.

Michael’s intuitive plane is average. Michael has a healthy respect for, and belief in, things that are outside of what he can know and feel. He is able to accept ideas of religion, spiritual development, and the metaphysical and he seeks development inwardly as a worthwhile part of his life.

In addition to the above planes, Michael has a tendency toward being not only creative and inspired; but dual and adaptable, as well. The concept of creative is synonymous with movement, or action to your nature. This suggests that Michael is a person who is inclined toward constant activity, with efforts directed at the here and now. He is ambitious and ready to go after whatever it is he wants without hesitation. He is likely to act immediately on issues that come to his attention, never sitting idly by waiting for someone else to get things started. Positively expressed, this tendency produces constructive initiative.

The adaptable tendencies in Michael’s chart denotes flexibility; but he may be so changeable that it is almost impossible to pin him down. He has the ability to go off in several directions at the same time, and it can be difficult for him to focus his attention to one thing for very long. He is able to fit easily into most situations and adapt himself to all sorts of experiences in life. Like a chameleon, he is able to adjust. Personal and sentimental, he is concerned with people rather than ideals or personal ambitions. Michael has an inner desire for much personal freedom, though he may find decision-making and self-directed actions difficult. He learns from the past, and in fact, he may occasionally dwell in the past rather than concentrating on the future. Michael is flexible and ingenious in emergencies because of his innate ability to improvise.
