Cabala of Pythagoras

The concept of a vibrating universe became popular in the early nineteenth century when discoveries about magnetism, light, and electricity were being made. It was demonstrated that light moves in waves and that electrical and magnetic impulses also travel in waves and undulations. At this time, it was affirmed that the molecules of all substances are in constant oscillation. Working on these facts, occultists came to the conclusion that everything existing in the universe is in perpetual motion and that each individual manifestation vibrates at its own speed, its own essential nature being determined by its rate of movement.

This is not a modern view of the universe, the term “vibration” probably originated with Pythagoras, the founder of a school of mystic philosophy in Greece in the sixth century BC and father of modern numerology. He maintained that the universe was a harmonious whole, that people, places, and things all emitted their own small vibrations, or sounds, which combined to produce the overall “Music of the Spheres”…He believed that there were nine basic sounds to which the numbers one to nine were assigned and that if sounds could be expressed in terms of numbers a key to the mysteries of the universe would be found. Because a man’s name contains the essence of his being, it is said to reveal his own sound or note. The tone or particular rate of vibration of the universe at the precise time of birth is thought to create individual character and destiny.

Although numerology is now used mainly for character analysis, a very ancient form of it known as numeromancy or arithomancy was also employed for purposes of divination. The following was Michael’s future as laid out by his name given at birth, Michael Joseph Jackson:

Knowledge, wisdom, intuition

Perfected labor

Victory

Injustice

Authority, power

Temporary problems and setbacks

Wisdom, strength, power

Compassion

Spiritual and material perfection

Restoration to health

The recognition of God, the soul, destiny

Now we’ll look at Michael’s full birth name, taking each name individually. We’ll begin with Michael which is Hebrew for "Who is like God?" This is a rhetorical question, implying no person is like God. Saint Michael was one of the seven archangels in Hebrew tradition and the only one identified as an archangel in the Bible. In the Book of Revelation in the New Testament he is portrayed as the leader of heaven's armies, and thus is considered the patron saint of soldiers.

The popularity of the saint led to the name being used by nine Byzantine emperors, including Michael VIII Palaeologus who restored the empire in the 13th century. It has been common in Western Europe since the Middle Ages, and in England since the 12th century. It has been borne (in various spellings) by rulers of Russia, Romania, Poland, and Portugal.

The name of Michael gives those who possess it a clever mind, good business judgment, a sense of responsibility, and an appreciation of the finer things of life. Michael is serious-minded and not inclined to make light of things even in little ways, and in his younger years, he had more mature interests than others his age. Home and family mean a great deal to Michael and it was natural that he desired the security of a peaceful, settled home environment where he could enjoy the companionship of family and friends.

Whatever Michael set out to accomplish, he did his very best to complete in accordance with what he considered to be right. Although the name Michael creates the urge to be reliable and responsible, there is caution that it could cause a superior, interfering expression whose favorite expression is "I know" when not combined with a balanced last name. This name, when not combined with a balanced last name, can also frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses through worry and mental tension.

Joseph is originally from the Hebrew name Yosef meaning "God will increase." In the Old Testament, Joseph was the eleventh son of Jacob. Because he was the favorite of his father, his older brothers sent him to Egypt and told their father that he had died. In Egypt, Joseph became an advisor to the pharaoh, and was eventually reconciled with his brothers when they came to Egypt during a famine. This name also occurs in the New Testament, belonging to Saint Joseph the husband of Mary, and Joseph of Arimathea.

In the Middle Ages, Joseph was a common Jewish name, being less frequent among Christians. In the late Middle Ages Saint Joseph became more highly revered, and the name became popular in Spain and Italy. In England it became common after the Protestant Reformation. This name was borne by rulers of the Holy Roman Empire and Portugal.

The name of Joseph gave Michael the desire to meet and mix socially and to create congenial circumstances for everyone. However, all too often, he could express himself in a matter-of-fact or awkward way that resulted in his good intentions being misunderstood. Still Michael did well because of his friendly personality, interest in people, and desire to please.

With the middle name of Joseph, Michael preferred situations that allowed him a degree of independence. The name Joseph created in Michael the desire for harmony with others, but he could still be blunt in expression at times and this alienated others. This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the fluid systems, and tension or accidents to the head.

Michael’s last name, Jackson, is an English surname which means "son of Jack.” However, the name Jack is derived from Jackin, earlier Jankin, a medieval diminutive of the name John. During the Middle Ages it was very common, and it became a slang word meaning "man." It was frequently used in fairy tales and nursery rhymes, such as “Jack and the Beanstalk,” “Little Jack Horner,” and “Jack Sprat.“

Since Jack is a derivative of John, let us see what the name John means. The name John is originally Hebrew and means, “God Is Gracious, Merciful.” This name owes its popularity to two New Testament characters, both highly revered saints. The first was John the Baptist, a Jewish ascetic who was considered the forerunner of Jesus Christ. The second was the apostle John, who was also traditionally regarded as the author of the fourth Gospel and Revelation.

This name was initially more common among Eastern Christians in the Byzantine Empire, but it flourished in Western Europe after the First Crusade. In England it became extremely popular: during the later Middle Ages it was given to approximately a fifth of all English boys. The name has been borne by 21 popes and eight Byzantine emperors, as well as rulers of England, France, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Portugal, Bulgaria, Russia and Hungary. It was also borne by the poet John Milton (1608-1674), philosopher John Locke (1632-1704), American founding father and president John Adams (1735-1826), and poet John Keats (1795-1821).

With the last name of Jackson, Michael had a great love of nature and the out-of-doors, and could have had the desire to be in an occupation which took him outdoors and involved him with the products of the earth. All the finer things of life and beauties of nature were an inspiration to Michael and he was attracted to the mysteries of nature. Difficulty in expression for Michael resulted in his being too blunt, and candid in speech at times, and although there were times when he was easily offended by others, he never showed it.

Michael craved affection and understanding, but rarely found it as others did not understand him and sometimes accused him of being cool and aloof. Although the name Jackson creates an interest in the deeper aspects of life, it also caused a blunt expression at times that alienated others. What I find extremely interesting about Michael’s full birth name is the invocation of God in each name:

Michael means: Who is like God?

Joseph means: God will increase

Jackson means: God Is Gracious, Merciful

What are the odds? Seriously. I looked up Carmen’s name (ForeverMichaelJFan) and found

Carmen means: Song

My name, Julie, means: Soft-Haired, Youthful

James means: Supplanter

Nicole means: Victory of the people

Barak means: Lightning

Perhaps Michael was an adept from God to help bring enlightenment to humanity. I will cover this potential aspect in later blogs.
